A few years ago, we did a DC Comics inspired retro pin up shoots that ended up being very popular. When planning the shoots, we already knew all of the characters that we planned to do, but we wanted to put a more creative spin on the characters. After a little research, we decided to put a 40's pin up look to the characters. This allowed us to give a different look to these very popular characters and something you've probably never seen. It's always fun as well to bring together strong contrasting ideas or subjects to make something both fun and unique.
From time to time we get the opportunity to do some creative projects. If it's something we've never done before then we generally are always ready to shoot. These creative shoots only help us grow as a business by exploring all of the possible options to help achieve the clients desired look. And we always strive to try something new and different to get some unique images that stand out. Which is why we try to set up our own creative shoots from time to time throughout the year.
It's shoots like these that really help give our clients ideas and views that they may have not necessarily ever thought of before. To see the difference in lighting, props, or even general types of photography that they never even knew existed. Not only with the content of the photos, but we work to give a creative look with the tone or mood that ultimately sets these photos apart. The manner in which we pose our subject and the subtle facial expressions will help capture that mood that we're going for and make the image truly special.
We hope that everyone has enjoyed all of the creative work that we have strived to create so far! I know we take a great amount of pride in these creative shoots. There may be a great amount of work, planning, and coordination involved, but it is definitely worth it all when you hear how appreciated these shoots are to all of our fans. We are always trying to grow as photographers and will work diligently to always be learning more.
